Social Directorate
The QUT Cliffhangers Social Directorate is possibly the sweetest position you could wish for. Being charged with having a wicked sick time means organising fun filled functions of freaky funkiness! If you see happy people in any of the club's miscellaneous photos, the Social Directorate is most likely responsible.
Your somewhat sober Social squad for 2008 are Sinead Foster, Courtney Bryce & Ian Lay.
Typical things on the cards include pub crawls, housewarming parties, skirmish sessions, movie nights (climbing movies of course!) and random for-sake-of-it parties. Highlights for which the Social Crew really puts on a show include:
- The QUT Cliffhangers Annual Cocktail Party
- The August High-Rise Riverfire Party
- End of Year Break-up Party
Other responsibilities include liasing with possible promoters and venues such as Red Bull, Bundy Rum and various pubs around town. Reaping the benefits of massively broadening your social scope and above all, having a crazy good time.
