Based in Brisbane, Australia, we are the most active rock climbing club in Queensland and the most active club at QUT. Whilst we operate under the QUT Student Guild, we welcome all members whether you're a student, worker, experienced climber or complete beginner we look forward to having you along.

Girraween, 24th - 25th October Weekend

Giraween is an amazing national park full of all sorts of great activities. The climbing there is generally slab on granite and has a reputation for being rather scary, though I'm told its not all that way, the guidebook is very minimal so you can also expect the odd adventure ;). Bringing the club bouldering mats is a must, there is also underwater rivers to explore, great walks like that up the first pyramid and fantastic wineries around.

Camping at Girra is about as luxury as camping can get, they have hot showers, toilets, picnic tables, water and barbecues. though keep in mind it will be cold at night so pack some warm thermals and a good jacket. Also don't forget to book you camping site online on the EPA site.
