Overnight Trips
For slightly further away destinations, or to get an early start we often go camping! We hope you like camping too.
Locations
- Brooyar (3Hrs Drive North) - The best sandstone cliffs in Queensland, with climbs for all experience levels. Beginners will love testing their abilities on the 40+ metre faces here.
- Urbenville (2Hrs Drive South) - Just over the boarder into NSW, features true slab climbing on incredibly grippy rock.
- Frog Butress (1.5Hrs Drive South) - Australia's preeminent crack climbing destination. Day trips are possible, but the camp ground is good and the local pub is even better.
- Girraween (3Hrs Drive South West) - Blank sharp sticky granite slab
- Redcliffs (2Hrs Drive West) - Beautiful sandstone in a secluded location. Campground is a 30 minute walk in but the locals are very friendly.
Redcliffs, Frog and Girraween are predominantly trad climbing areas. Trad trips have special requirements with regards to leaders and who is suitable to go.
