1. Form 2 loops of rope (see Picture 1), make sure that on the left loop the rope tail is on the top and on the right loop the rope tail is on the bottom.

2. Move the right loop over the top of the left loop (see Picture 2 and 3).

3. Clip a carabiner through both loops (see Picture 4)
