1. Coil the rope around the palm of your hand 3 times, starting from the left and moving to the right (see Picture sequence 1).

2. Take the right most coil and move it over the other coils to the far left (picture sequence 2).

Move the right coil so it looks like the below picture

3. Repeat step 2.

Move the right coil again so it looks like the below picture

4. Take the left most coil and take it under the other 2 coils so a loop is formed on the right (see Picture 4).

Move the left coil so a loop is formed like the below picture

5. Pull the loop and the tails away from each other (see picture 5).

6. Pull the tails away from each other (see picture 6).

7. Your knot should look like the below picture.
